Thank you for a great attendance at the 22nd Annual Law Enforcement and Private Security luncheon held on October 13th at the St. Louis Science Center.  It was nice to over 300 participants from various Federal agencies, local law enforcement agencies, and private security companies. It was a very special day to commemorate 17 award recipients (3 posthumously.) The STL Chapter also presented Lisa Pisciotta of Crimestoppers with a $1,000 check from our golf tournament proceeds.

We still have two more major events  this year!!! Please contact your chapter officers if are available to volunteer in planning and setup for the "cards" tournament (November 5th), and Holiday Social (December 2nd.) We need volunteers to ensure the success of these events.

With half the year already past, if you are interested volunteer leadership (becoming a chapter officer in 2012) please contact any of the chapter officers for more details. The election of the 2012 chapter officers will be held from October 28th through November 9th with the results to be announced at the November breakfast meeting.

As a reminder, all meetings with guest presenters will be a minimum of 50 minutes in length to qualify for re-certification CEUs so please plan your time and attendance accordingly.

Our November guest speaker will be David Barney  of the St. Louis County Emergency Communications Network. In this session, Mr. Barney will discuss the new Emergency Communications upgrades that St. Louis County recently implemented (E-911 and Tornado sirens.) Please joins us for this special presentation.
